ADVENTIST NURSING & REHABILITATION CENTRE
The Adventist Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre (ANRC) was set up after Youngberg Adventist Hospital was acquired by the Land Authority of Singapore for the construction of Woodleigh MRT Station. Initially conceptualized as a nursing home, it was redirected and established to serve as a day rehabilitation centre for stroke beneficiaries in 1997.

Over 20 years with rehabilitation and nursing needs
The centre was officially opened by Dr. Aline Wong, Senior Minister of State for Health and Education on Oct 9th 1998.
In 2017, we celebrated our 20th anniversary and on 12th December 2018, we obtained approval from MOH and opened a second centre in Bukit Panjang to reach out to a wider community.
Over the past 20 years, we have served over 10,000+ patients in the Woodlands and Marsiling region and taken care of their rehabilitation and nursing needs.
Our patients, many of whom referred to us by the Ministry of Health (MOH), are ordinary Singaporeans living in the heartlands or belong to middle to low income families. Even with government subsidies, some of these patients are still not able to afford the co-payment portion. ANRC identifies those who are in need of financial help and subsidizes them with treatment and transportation fees.
The centre specializes in administration of intensive physiotherapy and occupational therapy to beneficiaries suffering from stroke, Parkinson’s disease, post amputee, head traumas and other neuromuscular disorders.
